ive just purchased this & when i went to collect it ,,,it will not start ,when ive looked under the bonnet i now know why ,as far as i know the police mechanic must have been removing injectors to refurbish them & by the looks of it one has snapped ,hence the reason the police have disposed of it ,,so selling as a none running ,all parts that have been removed i.e injector pipes air box etc etc are in a box in the back of van ,open to sensible SWAP offers only please note it is a 2009 may registered vehicle ,,ex police (STILL HAS ALL THE RESIDUE GLUE ON FROM THE POLICE GRAPHICS ) does have a scuff on near side ,side loading door & has caught the rear wheel arch may have other scratches dents etc as exspected on a used vehicle
so no silly offers (it may just require one injector i'm not sure) but ive found a set of four injectors second hand on ebay for £160 but may be cheaper ,,also it cost £50+ for mobile mechanic to remove broken injector so could be a cheap fix for some one & make a nice van/camper
£3200 NO OFFERS ,NO VAT PLEASE NOTE THE BLUE BEACONS ARE NOT INCLUDED VEHICLE IS A NONE RUNNER DUE TO INJECTOR (PLEASE NOTE IVE SINSE FOUND OUT THAT APPROX 6 VEHICLE WERE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD DUE TO CONTAMINATED DIESEL HENCE THEY STARTED STRIPPING THIS ENGINE DOWN & SNAPPED ONE INJECTOR THEN OBVIOUSLY SOLD IT ON THE OTHER VEHICLES WERE JUST DRAINED OF FUEL & WERE OK SO THERE IS A FULL TANK OF DIESEL WHICH IS CONTAMINATED ) I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS BY A POLICE OFFICER WHOM KNOWS THIS VAN & A FRIEND OF THE MECHANIC AT ACKLY HEADS POLICE STATION
i have only just bought this & i paid £2500+ vat (£500 vat) plus £127.17 idemnity fee plus £15.56 surcharge -cash fee & £42 online bidders fee total price paid £3,184.75 plus ive just bought a set of 16" vauxhall vivaro wheel trims (second hand ) £25 which i will include, so total cost was £3,209.75 & a few quid to go & collect it hence i am only looking for my money back ,,as i well know the value of these multi perpose vehicles ,,comes with 1 remote locking key & V5 & PRINT OUT of services , i havent recieved an mot but it may still be mot'd as ive not checked the gov website so selling without mot ,,it may well also still be taxed but no tax disc as police get free tax so NO TAX ,,,IF THE VAN DOESNT SELL THIS WEEK I WILL GET IT REPARED & KEEP IT FOR MYSELF AS I ONLY BOUGHT IT TO REPLACE MY 2003 VIVARO ,which i'm reluctant to sell, I MAY DELIVER LOCALLY FOR COST OF FUEL & LABOUR FOR RETURN JOURNY BUT ONLY LOCAL TO DH99EQ
