For sale or swap is my rare mk2 escort van 1980 with full capri v6 running gear.
It's been off the road since 1998 and has undergone a refurbishment to the extent of welding and a respray in black which could do with some tlc but is excellent all round in comparison to majority of escorts of this age and newer. All strut tops have been replace as has the floor and all welding it required has been done prior to paint. It will need carpets in the front as well as a tidy up. It has an RS steering wheel, RS clocks and RS2000 alloys, the rear wheels require tyres but are included. The corner bumpers are also include but aren't currently fitted and there are some other spares. When the van was last used the mileage was around 40k but the RS clocks are showing 18875. The previous owner has welded the rear doors up to give a hotrod look and it's been done to an extremely high standard. The body is great and the will only need minimum tlc to the bonnet and a good valet and polish.
It does require a new brake servo or master cylinder but as far as i know this is all it required mechanically.
I've described it to the best of my ability as i'm not a mechanic.
Only reason for allowing someone else to enjoy this classic is i don't have the time to finish to the standard it deserves.
It does start, run and drive! So not a lot of work needed to finish!
