Mk2 golf

Description:

For sale is my 1991 time piece of a mk2 golf driver 5 door.

This has been locked in a barn for the last 7 years.

I bought it late last year got it road worthy and since have had it polished and the interior valeted. The paintwork has come up like new.

1.6 auto golf,
MOT Feb 2022
Brand new tires
160k on the clock recently serviced
Brand new weber 32/34 carb fitted (original Pierburg will come with the car also)
runs Well
Interior is A1 condition.
Full service history stamped by VW up to 140k
Original dealer plates fitted.
Totally original.

As with any old classics it needs a few bits sorting,

1, Heater matrix has been by passed due to a leaky matrix in the dash.
2. Accelerator cable needs changing as this one is a little stiff
3. Some times up and down on the revs from cold.
4. rust scab as pictured on the windscreen wiper plugged socket.
5. small trolley dent in the passengers door
6. rear passengers door handle missing the trim
7. rear drivers windows metal strip rusted easy to source and replace.

I have listed the items above to be as honest as I can but as with any classic viewing is recommend or I can take photos and send them over of any part of the car.
