2 classic radios , 1 cb and 1 ssb

york jcb 863 40 ch fm cb radio 27/81 40+ years old

this was bought new and has been dry stored for 40+ years
it is boxed and has never been used or ever switched on
even the microphone still has its transmit key sticker still on
and the little bag of thumb screws and other screws and mic holder bag is still sealed

it is in totally immaculate condition as can be seen by the pictures
box has a little ware but cardboard goes like that after some time

this is a true collectors piece due to immaculate condition as can be seen by the pictures and comes with everything in its original box

there was one similar to mine discribed as new and only used a couple of times and that sold for £230 recently on ebay

its ok people saying why don't i put it on ebay then well by the time ebay have taken a big slice of the sale price as they are getting greedy these days and then paypal have taken a slice in fee's i wont be much better off than i am letting it go for

and before anyone says so yes i know some go for less but they are very scuffy ones with no accessories and no box
but this one is a true unused piece of history

also on offer is a VERY RARE there was only a handful of these made for the european market
original mk1 PRESIDENT GRANT - Euro 80 FM Special edition
FM AM USB LSB 80 channel 26.965 - 27.855 mhz
these was originally a 40 channel am usb lsb and the company did a conversion on them by adding fm and hi and low to make them 80 channel for the european market hence why they have a sticker over certain areas also hence why the company did not make new fronts for these because again they was only doing a handful of these
this radio is in good condition front is in mint condition with a few very slight marks on the black cases ( please look at all pictures so you can see condition )
also comes with its power lead
also comes with thumb screws ( no bracket though )
also comes with a pama echo power mic ( i have just put a new 9v battery in )
also comes with its original box although that is a bit tatty it is over 40+ years old though

i do not think this radio has had much use at all as all the dials are nice and tight no play at all
and the channel selctor dial that is also nice and tight no play at all

there are plenty other versions of the president grant mk1 with more channels out there for sale but the euro 80 fm are very rare again there was only a handful of them made so you will be lucky to find another one of these for sale or swap

this ssb radio will be great for the collector to display
or just for using
