| here for a very reluctant sale is my 1995 1.9td volkwagen t4 caravelle, it started life as a minibus/people carrier so has all factory fitted interior pannels throughout, however at some point in its life the rear seats were removed and replaced with sofa bed that folds out to a full size double bed, it has three seperate heaters one for the front one for the floor in the rear and one overhead in the rear, all the windows have been tinted, the rear are all dark smoke and the front are light smoke, i have fitted some curtains from a japanese people carrier and are in grey that match the rear pannels, there is a roof mounted brake light on inside of rear door, has two sliding windows one on each side, up front i have just installed two 53 plate toyota celica gt grey leather seats and look the nuts, there is a gear lever extension with a 8 ball gear knob, polo sport steering wheel with stalks, i have fitted a sun strip across the top of the windscreen, and it has power steering.on the outside it has 19" audi rs6 alloy wheels with 2 yokahma 215/35/zr19 at the front and the rear has 2 continental 235/35/zr19 tyres, gold calipers and drums, it has been lowered 60mm at the front, smoked front indicators, and a few dub movement stickers, vw badges have been sprayed black,all other badges have been removed, it has 213k miles on the clock but dont let this put you off, if you know theses engines if they are looked after they will do in excess of 450k and this one has, it had a new headgasket cambelt and full service when i bought it at 203k miles, it also had a new power steering pump,engine mounts, ball joints, exhaust, brakes and that was about 8 months ago, since i have owned it i have had the oil and filter changed, flushed and replaced the coolant,new battery, new starter motor and vw ring gear, i have just had the drive shaft bolts and housing relpaced as this is a common problem with these and the vitos, just fitted a new vw water pump as old one was squeeling, i have just mot'd it and all it needed was a passenger front shock bush so fitted new shocker, two headlight adjusters as they broke when adjusting headligh beam, and two rear tyres, rear brake compensator was adjusted to improve the rear brakes off the foot pedal, underneith it is solid with no rust and has never been welded. there has been a bit of paint work on passenger side doors,and does have a few small scratches here and there i am not saying the van is immaculate but it is one of the best i have seen for its age, so to sum up it is a mint van in and out with new mot and tax and will give you years of motoring if looked after. i have the original front seats if the leather is not to your liking, |
