Here you are looking at one of the most unusual houses in Bulgaria sat in fromt of a mountain in a small yet friendly village named kuinino 60km from the main city of Pleven and only 10km from the town of Chelven Bryag . Kuinino as a village has couple of bars a few food shops a post office and a train station it also boasts the only stone remodelling college in Bulgaria.
To the front of the house there is open land with a widening river with further mountains in the distance. As you can see the dome at the top of the house is actually a bedroom, with windows all around, off that you have open space which could become 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom, the roof strutts are of old timber, which treated would give the effect of ornateness, from there you have stairs down to the mainfloor with further stairs to the basement, the main floor has a door to the vined garden with outbuildings (ideal summer house) Room 1 brick floor with large open fire place window to the side 13 foot by 13 foot, corridoor to 50p piece shaped entrance hall with solid wood floor, double entrance doors to the front door off to the rear room, window to the front looking over our open land then back to door to front room approx 16 foot by 13 foot back to the small kitchen area.
now the stairs to the main lower floor, the lower floor is an exact match to the upper floor.
BAD POINTS:
Gutters need replacing. Plaster has fallen in the lower floor ceilings, the roof needs to be repaired, it would require a new kitchen and bathroom i personally would put the kitchen downstairs.
I estimate the total cost of this refurb to be in the region of £7000-00 then you could add your own taste to it IE decorating etc etc. You will not find another house like this in Bulgaria, in a crime free area like this leave your house unlocked and even leave the door open all night if you want with no problems....What a way of life.....Tempted????? |
