It's a 2 bedroom / 1 upstairs bathroom with toilet / 1 downstairs toilet / there's a communal swimming pool. Both largish bedrooms (i.e. either could be used for a master bedroom). It's in a nicer part of Gainesville, Florida which is central NW Florida. Hurricanes hardly ever happen and are usually blown out when they come anywhere near. It's a University town (University of Florida). There's an American football stadium in town for The Gators. All the best hospitals in northern Florida are there too. Very convenient for shops. Great location. Pets are allowed and not charged for. Off-street parking in the condo complex.
I bought this one to get on the property ladder in the United States. But ofcourse the house market has turned down. Could have sold this for 10k more two years ago. The new monthly condo fee from January 2008 will be approx. 90 pounds per month (they mow the grass and keep the outside of the property complex clean). Annual taxes are approx. 1250 pounds. I also redecorated earlier this year. Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are all just over 2 years old.
Note that prices above represent approx. 2 dollars to the pound. Exchange rates do go up and down.
This is the only property I own. I'm not an estate agent and I don't rent out (not interested in doing that). Although if you do want to rent this one out you can get 850 dollars per month for it because rental property is in high-demand in this University town.
