Vw eos 1.4tsi swap bigger car/van

Description:

VW Eos 1.4 TSI Convertible – 115k Miles (still in daily use so will go up)

Owned since October 2024, Good runner no knocks or bangs. Reliable daily driver that’s very economical to run and has never let me down.

MOT until April 2027.

Comes with excellent service history with 14 services recorded in the book. Most recent service was carried out in March 2026 (around 1,000 miles ago), including:

• Oil & filter
• Spark plugs
• Air filter
• Cabin filter

Also recently had both front ball joints and drop links replaced following MOT advisories.

• Upgraded head unit fitted

• Electric sunroof fully working

Very economical car, regularly returning 40–50 MPG depending on the journey. Cheap to insure and comfortable on longer drives.

Known faults:
• Engine management light on (common VW issue)
• Airbag light on due to seat connection after moving seat backwards and forwards
• Convertible roof has recently stopped working due to a boot sensor
• Some age-related marks/scuffs around the bodywork
• Lacquer fade on driver’s door and driver’s front wing

The roof worked during my ownership but recently stopped operating. I’ve never really used it as a convertible and mainly used the sunroof, which still works perfectly.

Overall a reliable, economical car with a long MOT, excellent service history and plenty of life left in it.
