Lexmoto adrenaline 125cc off road

Lexmoto adrenaline 125, bought as a non runner off a friend, he used it off road and one day wouldnt start so sat for a few month, ive replaced wiring loom, ignition lock, petrol cap, keys and the bike came with a new battery but doesnt seem to be the right one for the bike as seems abit big,
Bike starts first time and runs well apart from third gear sort of bogs down sometimes when entering third, either shift up to 4th or back down to 2nd and its fine, unsure if its a electrical fault or fuel but its not all the time
Rough and ready dont expect a brand new bike, comes with a spare seat and rear plastics arnt on the bike as they came in a bag and ive not fitted them as theres a few clips broken, looks like the bikes had a few upgraded parts in the past bars, forks etc.
Bike was on road at one point i have no records or log book but sure it wouldnt take much to put back on
