Audemars Piguet AP Royal Oak mongeral watch. Swapped this watch thinking it was a Millenary. Took it to Watches is Switzerland l. They confirmed that it had different parts from different AP watches. Also some parts were not AP such as the strap.

Further to my earlier voicemail, Audemars have contacted me in regard to your watch.
They have an issue with it as there is no visible serial number for them to confirm whether or not it is a genuine watch, but they can state that it is definitely NOT a Royal Oak model as stamped on the watch.
It would need to be sent back to the manufacturer in Spain for further examination but this would cost a carriage fee of £400.00 to cover insurance.
This would need to be paid in advance.
Please let us know if you would like to pay this fee for transportation or if you would prefer to collect your watch from us and not have the authentication carried out.
Please be aware that there would be an additional cost for paperwork to be created if it is a genuine model, and if found to be counterfeit your watch is liable to be retained by the manufacturer.
