Here is my Part converted / Ex Campervan on the road project



I bought this recently as a 80% complete campervan with all the intention of finishing it off and using it as it is a stunning looking and rarer van than the usual TVP's you find, however after i picked it up on the way home i noticed various faults with the Van and have since spent some money on trying to sort various parts of it and even so muich as having the Cambelt done just last week at a cost of £300, im going to cut my loses here and sell it to someone who has more knowledge, time and money than me to spend on it, asinde from its shortfalls it is a brilliant van that will do someone proud, it looks the part, its poweful and munches up the miles on the motorway. It is in daily use as it is myonly vehicle and it is a very reliable Van and i dont want to put it down too much



It is a 2004 Renault trafic, Same as a Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan Primastar

Long Wheel Base High Top (the larget van you can get in this range)

2.5Tdi 6 Speed, the biggest / most powerful engine they did in the range with 140BHP, its a quick, tourqey van that one it is on the motor way it munches up the miles, it will cruise all day at 70-80mph, with 70mph doing less tha 2500RPM

It comes with electric windows and Aircon so it is a decent speced van

As mentioned in the last week it has had the Cambelt done at a cost of £300

Aside from this it has had in 2020:

Handbrake cables

Brakes all around and more



Aside from the standard stuff as you can see it has had some modifications these include:

a Full paint job in 2 tone Blue and grey, this includes all door shuts etc, the only place you can tell its original colour (white) is in the engine bay

Lowered

Side exit short exhaust so it sounds brilliant

Windows down both sides for a total of 4 extra windows in the back, 1 is a sliding window

Now for the bad points, as to why i am selling it:

Needs a couple wear and tear items around the van, but the main bad point is what I believe is a leaking injector seal



Still in daily use up until today and doesn’t affect how it runs, still has plenty of power, and is still very reliable even as it is



To sum up, it’s a solid great looking, van, with a lot of the big expensive work done,

Has a suspected leaky injector / seal

Needs a little TLC

Perfectly usable, with plenty of power and reliability still
