JAGUAR XJ X358 SOVEREIGN 2.7 DIESEL

Hi, here is my XJ 2.7 X358 facelift diesel Sovereign that I have owned for past year and a half after I purchased from a friend who loved and cherished for 4 years. He had the belts done in 2022 and comes with good stamped history, reciepts, service booklets. It has MOT until end of september, 148k on the clock, 3 keys, all the optional extras and in stunning metallic grey really stands out with lovely original XF 20" wheels.

When I purchased it it needed some paint work and a little tidy up. I've had the back bumper fully painted due to lacquer peel, front bumper corner painted due to scuff and alloys paint so the car is really looking clean with just the odd mark that doesn't stand out.

What ive done -

Oil and filter change
New pollen filter
New rear drop links
New front track rod ends
New rear inner and outer tie rod ends
New front Airbags
New suspension compressor
New light controle module
New Tailgate actuator due to common fault where tailgate doesn't open fully
Paint to rear bumper, front bumper corner and wheels
Brand new battery 20.3.26

The interior is a beautiful white leather which is heated and cooled for those warm days and everything works including the air con and Bluetooth and its all aged well.



Things to note none of which prevents you from using the car daily -


Very small water leak since ive owned it. It needs half a litre every 150 miles or so. Never bothered me and car has never overheated.

Headlining has sagged so I've put the repair pins in and it looks really good and not out of place, see photos.

Auto wipers not working and from previous experience, this is stalk or rain sensor both of which are very cheap to purchase and replace. Wipers work fine otherwise


Has had tracking done last year but since had more suspension work and track rod end so ideally needs 4 wheel alignment. Its not pulling but with these large wheels you can feel tramlining so needs doing properly.



This is cheap for this spec so will ignore any silly messages and offers. PX considered

Car insured, MOTED and taxed to get you home because im using as second car. The insurance is till May and would cost me more to cancel.

No doubt an appreciating modern classic that wont rot being aluminium and last of proper Jags.
