This is my 2007 E81 BMW 1 Series M Sport that has undergone a full, factory‑style N57 3.0D conversion using an ’09 E92 330D donor car. It’s still registered as a 120D, but the swap has been done properly using matching BMW components throughout. If you didn’t know BMWs, you’d never realise it’s been converted.

I’ve only owned it a couple of weeks — the only reason for sale is that I can’t get insured on it with the modifications declared.

Engine & Drivetrain
- Full N57 3.0D conversion from 2009 E92 330D
- Approx 311bhp / 478lb ft — extremely quick, still nimble thanks to aluminium block
- Matching 6‑speed 330D manual gearbox
- 330D large‑case differential
- 330D prop, professionally shortened & balanced by D&F Propshafts Leeds
- New prop centre bearing
- New front & rear rubber prop couplings
- EGR mapped out, swirl flaps removed
- 330D radiator & intercooler
- 330D exhaust modified to fit with smaller silencer
- Engine harness professionally integrated — no warning lights, everything works as it should

- 330D 348mm front brakes (new discs & pads just fitted for MOT)

Bad Points (being honest)
- Rear tyre went flat — currently on an original E81 wheel. Will be fixed before sale.
- Some wear on driver’s seat
- Age‑related marks/scuffs as expected for a 2007 car
- Slight wheel bearing noise starting (likely front right). No play. Will also be sorted before sale.

Summary
This is a seriously quick, well‑built sleeper that still returns 50+ mpg on motorway runs. Hard to find an E81 M Sport this well‑specced, let alone with a proper N57 conversion. Only selling because I can’t get insured on it.
