Mini Cooper

Description:

I bought this mini a few weeks ago as a temporary car. Now I have a motorbike and no longer need this.
Now this is what one of the previous owners has had done to the car.
Apparently race prepared or something.
Lowered suspension
Big bore exhaust.
Sports air filters
Remapped to stage 1.
I have no paperwork for this so cannot confirm. Also apparently faster than a cooper S. There also is no proof of this.
No rev limiter.

I’m 51 and this isn’t for me.
Now the bad bits, baring in mind it’s a 22 year old car.
it goes in all gears, but can sometimes not always go in to first gear properly on first try.
I’ve been told it is the gear selector under the battery, I haven’t sorted this, because if it is stage 1 remapped, removing the battery may loose the remap.
The speedo is intermittent, I haven’t sorted had an abs sensor on the left changed, but it hasn’t worked, so I have a new one for the right side now to go on.
Lacquer flake here and there.
