Description:
2014 Honda Civic 1.6 i-DTEC 5-door manual. If you know these engines, you know how ridiculously economical they are. It’s the ultra-eco model with the green ECON button, easily returning huge MPG while still having plenty of pull. Extremely practical car with that massive Civic boot space.
Overall, the car is in really good condition for its age. It has a couple of little scuffs and bumps here and there as you'd expect for a 2014, but visually it presents very well. It's currently sitting on 97,000 miles, has just been serviced, and recently had brand-new brake discs and pads fitted all around, so the major maintenance is all taken care of.
Honest bit regarding the price:
It recently had a brand-new genuine throttle and throttle body fitted, but it needs a replacement throttle plug as the current one isn't holding tight. It drives completely fine day-to-day, but if you drive it a bit spirited, the loose plug can trigger a throttle voltage fault code. It doesn't affect how the car drives at all, but I want to be 100% transparent.
I already have the piggyback replacement plug on order. I’m listing the car cheap right now for a quick, hassle-free sale as it sits. Once the plug arrives and I get ten minutes to connect it, I’ll be taking this ad down and re-listing the car at its full value.
