Description:

Looking at selling or swapping my Mercedes c280. 3 litre petrol, FULL SERVICE HISTORY, really reliable, great looking car and not in a hurry to take just anything. Am needing something bigger, more roomy in the back as we have our granddaughter in her car seat and my wife has been relegated to the back as our youngest Son is already well over 6ft and he has to sit in the front. Happy wife = Happy life.

This is the 3 litre petrol engine which is really smooth, automatic gearbox which is really good, selects all the gears correctly, sports, comfort, and manual shifts, all really good. Looks really nice with the little added extras too. Really subtle roof and boot spoilers, privacy windows (limo/onyx tint). Corner side skirts, AMG wheels with excellent tyres which were done along with the rear brakesbdiscs and pads at last years service, been serviced again this July.

I've had this car for about 18 months now. The EML light comes on and has done since I've had it. I bought it with 6 months warranty and even then I took it in a couple of times because the light came on and it was under the warranty. The mechanics have never been able to find any fault with it, and it runs exactly as he should without any issues. Had a few mechanics say that if the oldskool cars had sensors like todays cars they'd probably have EML lights on all the time too. The fault codes were for system Banks too rich (o2 sensors) but again, they're fine and it doesn't, or ever has, affected the running of him. Around town, it's a 3 litre petrol (which I've been ok with as I've had a few Subarus and he's not as thirsty as them). On a run it's probably the most economic car I've owned for motorway miles.

A few little carpark dinks/marks when you look hard enough, but that being said, it's a really clean, good looking motor for nearly 20 years old.
