2002 Yamaha XJR1300

Description:

Putting my XJR1300 up for sale or possibly swap as I'm looking to move over to an adventure tourer.
It's a 2002 bike with just over 30,000 miles on it and MOT until 29th April 2027.
Runs and rides exactly as it should and pulls like an XJR should. It's been a great bike and I'll probably regret selling it, but I'm after something a bit more suited to longer rides and touring.
It's had a custom paint job, so it's a bit different from the usual XJR. It's not a showroom bike and there are a few marks here and there which I've tried to show in the pictures, but overall it still looks really good.
It's also got:
Öhlins rear shocks
Custom black diamond stitched seat with red stitching
Original seat included
Twin exhausts
Engine crash protection/bobbins
Phone holder
Tyres fitted at the end of June 2026 and have done less than 1,000 miles
Long MOT until April 2027
It's an old-school big naked bike with loads of torque and plenty of character. Starts, stops, runs and rides as it should and is ready to use.
I'm looking for £3,200, but I'm also very interested in a swap for a decent adventure/touring bike, ideally 900cc or above.
Things like a Varadero 1000, V-Strom 1000, Tiger, Caponord, Versys 1000, BMW GS etc would definitely interest me, but I'm open to other bikes so feel free to try me.
I'm not expecting a brand new bike in exchange and I'm happy to consider something older as long as it's a decent usable bike.
