A genuine 1997 Fiat Punto 1.1 8v 55, 3-door, becoming increasingly difficult to find in this specification. This is an honest, usable example with a strong mechanical base, tasteful upgrades and plenty of character.

In my opinion, this is one of the best exterior colour and interior combinations available on the Mk1 Punto. The colour complements the car’s original styling particularly well, while the Punto GT interior gives the cabin a much more distinctive and desirable appearance.

Bad bits – being completely honest:

- Dent on the lower passenger-side wing – please see pictures
- Some age-related marks around the body, as expected with a 1997 car
- Clutch thrust bearing is noisy and believed to be original. The clutch itself still feels good and strong.
- Door-edge strips have been fitted as there is some slight denting and paint peel underneath them.
