Land Rover Discovery 3. New MOT

For sale is my 2006 Discovery 3 (Manual not Auto). As most people know these are cracking vehicles, but come with their ‘common faults’. This one is no different, however I have had all the problems fixed at a large expense.

-Suspension pump replaced (New)

-Handbrake module replaced (New) – including all cables

-Brakes replaced (including all new disks, both rear callipers)

-Lower arm bushes

-Tailgate actuator and switch

These have come to a total of thousands in the last year.



It also benefits from-

-12 months MOT (No advisory’s)

-Discovery 4 wheels in great condition (19”)

-4 new tyres (less than 500 miles)

-Suspension raise and lower work perfectly

-All off road modes work (including low range)

-Rear brake lines replaced

-Full underside treated with Tetroseal Rustproofing

-Oil and filter service carried out less than a year ago

-Detachable tow bar, with electrics all working

-7 seats (all folding and flipping as they should)

-Clean interior

-Privacy glass





Bad bits-

-Dent on rear quarter panel (shown in pictures)

-Large Stone chip on the roof (flicked up by a lorry on the motorway)

-A few small scratches around the vehicle

-Leather around the gear stick a bit tatty (£12.99 on Ebay)

-Not much documented service history (has been carried out by myself and same with the previous owner)

-Slight wear on drivers seat

-Missing two buttons from the radio/stereo (both fast forward buttons)



All in all this is a great truck and would make a perfect family car, or just a nice 4x4 for someone. Deals with the snow brilliantly and is extremely comfortable and refined for longer journeys too.
