Honda Civic 2000 EK4 K swap 


For sale is my Honda Civic EK4 k-swap car, the swap was carried out by Honda HQ and the car was mapped by J.Calibration where it made 257BHP. I purchased this car in May 2017 as a standard ek4, the k swap was carried out in June 2019 along with the mapping. It’s a truly amazing car and pulls really well in all gears, don’t really want to let it go but it won’t get driven much so will be better of with someone that can make more use of it. I will however be interested in a swap for a nice spec DC5 ideally but let me know what else you have.


Specs


Engine/Gearbox 

K20a2 from a 1 owner Civic type R premier edition, millage on the engine is 83,000, full Honda history up to 70,000 and remaining history is from local garages, have service book also. Can provide the number plate of the car the engine came out of for anyone to carry out any checks etc.

Very healthy engine with no smoke or any issues. A stock ep3 gearbox which came with the engine, also on 83,000 miles, no unwanted noises or crunches, selects all gears fine.

Bad bits 

Starter motor may need replacing in the near future and current one is worn, still starts as normal but on occasions its starts on after a few attempts, I will be providing a replacement starter motor with the sale

Few marks on body work as expected from a 19 year old car, nothing major

There is a cut out in the front bumper where when it was b series I was running a trumpet for a old air feed   


As you can see from the list above, it is a very well spec’d car with great potential. Overall the condition is very good with only 112,000 miles on the shell but with it being a 19 year old car there is the odd mark here n there. When clean she shines up really well, its a very clean car compared to the other honda's out there. Just had a fresh MOT. Rust wise there is nothing to worry about, when Honda HQ carried out the k swap they assured me it was all okay. I can provide additional pictures of the underneath of the car if required, I have tons of receipts for parts and work carried out, also dyno proof.
