Description:

I bought this car with the intention of it being a long term daily driver however I am in the process of setting up my own company and require the cash to get that off the ground and moving in the right direction. It's been a tough choice to make however unfortunately I can not keep all my toys.

Now enough of a sob story, let's get to the good stuff! This is a 1988 Alfa Romeo 33 cloverleaf Veloce and it's a beauty. She is just about to click over 32,500 miles. I have all the paper work for the vehicle to confirm this exceptionally low mileage including the original bill of sale. The first owner part ex'd a blue Talbot sunbeam against the 33 back in 1988!

The car itself is in great condition for the age. Almost everything works as well which makes a change for any Italian vehicle of this age! As you can see from the photos a couple of items have been changed from standard. Firstly the momo Italy steering wheel, stainless steel trumpets on the carbs and the gearknob has also been replaced. I have all the original parts that can go w8th the car. The gearknob will be reverted to standard before the car leaves me (I've had it in every car I've owned and I'm a little bit attached to it)

Earlier in the year both cambelts were replaced by the previous owner who was also an Alfa anorak (hope he doesn't mind me saying that). About 3 days after I bought the car the original starter motor gave up the ghost so I replaced that for a new unit and have had no issues since.

So, the bad bits. Unfortunately every car has them. The passenger window does not work, I had a quick look at the switch and that seems to be working however I am yet to strip down the door and inspect the regulator. The speedo under reads but does function properly. The sunroof would really benefit with a new seal however I store the car inside so that never really bothered me.

The one main killer of these cars is rust. This Alfa Romeo 33 is 99.9% rust free. Boot floor is perfect, fuel fuller neck is perfect, all jacking points are perfect. There is one repair patch in the NSF upfront of the strut but that is it.

If anyone wants to ask me any questions about the Alfa I'll be happy to answer them. I will be genuinely gutted to see this car leave. I know I'll never find one as good as this again.
