Offered here,reluctantly,is my 2002 Suzuki GSX1400 Turbo..Very well built and very high spec, I’ve owned it and loved it for a couple of years and it always gets attention and it has power to match- I have the Dyno print out from a run which shows 216bhp at the wheel, however the turbo has been fully rebuilt and it’s been remapped so probably well over 200 now-it definitely feels even quicker.. The performance is blistering- running on a drag strip (with a standard tyre so lots of wheel spin and very little experience) it was in the 9’s... So to the bike..
It’s a 2002 on a private GSX registration and has done under 13,000 miles..It was professionally built using a Garret AR60-M24 ball bearing turbo (apparently japan market skyline upgrade unit),custom built plenum,slash pipes,mechanical waste gate (adjustable),dump valve,high pressure fuel pump,oversized oil cooler,Schmitz racing scavenger pump, aircraft grade oil line connections and non return valve,probably more I’ve forgot there engine wise.Also fitted is a Power commander usb,healtech Bluetooth quickshifter and a lock up clutch.
There are plenty of other mods to the bike including a very expensive and rare Spondon stretched swingarm which stops the front lifting and really helps using the power safely.other extra touches include, screen,seat cover,bar end indicators,expensive handlebars,powder coating,wavey discs etc etc...The bike looks awesome but isn’t 100% mint, few little marks etc but nothing to worry about.. starts and runs great,recent battery,chain,sprockets,pads and good tyres...
There is a small nitrous shot burst which can be used on the drag strip-not needed on the road which adds around 15bhp for a few seconds.
This bike would need to be seen and heard to be appreciated and I will gladly demonstrate it but no test rides without the money in my hand- No Exceptions!!.. Located in Southport,PR9 postcode..
The bike has cost in excess of £12000 to build,for example for major parts costs..

All in all this is a real head turner of a bike that goes as fast as it looks but can be ridden pretty much like a standard gsx1400..The engine is a stock unit,low miles under 13000, and the power output is what these engines can cope with with no danger of explosion!!..

I want to swap for

3.5 ton recovery truck- prefer mk7 transit or good Mk6 with mk7 front. Nothing scruffy..or something interesting of same value..Subaru Impreza or similar sporty car !!
