1989 vee express
twin volvo penta AQ171 engines, twin VP290 drive legs, pressurized hot and cold water system (untested) sea toilet and shower in own room (both unused by me) two double beds, hob, fridge and worktop space.
a worthy sea going boat when new, now requires a little work to be up to that standard again. both engines start easily and run well (very quiet when traveling at river speeds) one drive leg goes into fwd and rev gears smoothly and works well, one for some reason wont engage gears, the gear leaver will not move so id guess it could be a stuck cable or something more. i had big ideas but im now being held back by life and will be stuck inland for a good while yet, this boat needs to be on bigger waters than a canal so i need something more suited to inland use PLEASE NOTE the 1st two pictures are of the actual boat (festina lente) the inside pictures are of a sister vessel and are almost identical to mine, just as i dont have any inside pictures to hand as a write this ad
