Back door into the music business. You never see an advertisement for a roadie, guitar tech, tour manager etc because you have to know people to get those jobs.
Owning this van got me the contacts I needed to get offered this kind of work and to get positions on several crews. It’s changed my life and given me the best of times.
Unfortunately, due to a long term health issue, I can’t drive the long roads any more or take care of a van.
I had hoped to be back to full strength and get her going again but after 2 years off the road, it’s time to give this great opportunity to the next roadie.
Better she’s out there getting the music to the fans and helping the scene.

Pictured here outside venues in down town Zurich and Warsaw.

Fully kitted out with electrics, 1000Watt converter, on a split charger, charges as she drives,
powering a tv,
x-box,
excellent sound system with a FLI 900watt amp and surround sound with 4 x JBL speakers in the back.

3 very comfortable seats in the back as well as 3 in the front and room to put in another 3.

Double bed, full length,

Fully insulated,

Side window,

Independent diesel heater, plumbed into the main fuel tank,

Large boot space under bed for instruments and luggage,

Anti-theft lock plates,

Since sitting for 2 years, most things need some work to re-commission.
The eject on the Pioneer radio/dvd player needs repairing,

Engine has been replaced by previous owner and has an estimated 240,000 on it, nothing for one of these machines, pulls like a train. Starts first time every time.
Oil replaced every 3 – 6 months by me with Castrol gold.

Has been round Europe many times so plenty of motorway miles on her.

Under-sealed before I got her in 2017.

Since then I’ve replaced:
All the brake pads and disks as well as 2 calipers and several brake hoses,
One of the rear suspension leaf springs,
The gear cables,
Two front ball joints,
Oil and filters many times,
Fuel filter,
Leisure battery,
Back doors, which are white so could do with being painted green.

She failed an m.o.t almost 2 years ago now, I have started her up and moved her about semi-regularly since then so she drives, starts and stops no problem.
The battery died, so will need a new one. I’ve got a pretty good one in just now but it’s a bit small for it. Does the trick for starting up and moving about though.

Needs the seals on the roof hatches done, the bottom of the seal on the side door is gone, could do with some seat covers, the bonnets rusty underneath the cover, doors could do with being filed, windscreen wipers comes with a new one, needs a good clean.

For the m.o.t she’ll need:

Two front tyres,
Brake lines,
Suspension struts on the front,
Welding, Under the bumpers, next to the suspensions, a bit on the cill’s and the drivers side wheel panel,
Both rear brake discs,
Ball joints,
Steering rack needs looked at,
A track rod end,
Two shock absorbers,

It’s all plug and play, like giant meccano. Comes with a haines manual which gives detailed instructions. All the work for the m.o.t, other than the welding, is around the front wheels so easy enough to get to.

A good project at the end of which you’ll know basic mechanics, how to weld and have a ticket to a bright and colourful world.

Not for the faint hearted but very few worth while things are, especially in the music industry.

Texts or emails rather than calls please and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I won’t remove the ad without a deposit, thanks.
