Cannondale gstar raw BAFANG ebike

Location: South West England - Tonedale
Swap Value: £1.000+

Description:

Here for reluctant sale is my E bike. Its a cannondale gstar raw equipped with a bafang 750w mid drive kit. I purchased it from a gent last year and have loved owning it but due to moving somewhere less suited to needing an around town bike I have decided to sell it to fund a 125cc motorbike to free up the car for family use.

It reaches 25/30mph depending on the riders weight at top speed, has disc brakes (pads are getting a little low) and a thumb throttle should you want not to pedal. Climbs hills at 15mph + with easy. Honestly going to miss it massively but the A roads around New living location call for a motorbike not a pushbike otherwise I'd keep it.

The bike itself is in pretty good condition, the only real fault with it is that the suspension lock out doesn't work so the suspension on the front is always on, however this didn't bother me as I like having suspension on push bikes. There a couple of little things I will point out with the electric kit though! First off it has a throttle, this however does stick every now and then if you push it hard when it's already at its max. It's just the cheap plastic throttles that come with the bike conversion kits that aren't that hardy but it still works fine, only happened a couple of times to me. The chain is a little bit loose and has slipped off twice during my ownership of the bike. Being someone who knows very little about push bikes I've never bothered to look into it, so It could be a new chain would improve performance but it rides fine as is anyway. It has motor cut off sensors on the brake levers to kill the power as soon as you apply the brakes. This works brilliantly but where the person who built the conversion has glued the sensors on, if you really hammer the brakes sometimes the motor cut off stays on for an extra couple of seconds, just something I noticed in my ownership and looking to list the bike as honestly as I can.

The display/control unit has a colour display, 9 levels of pedal assist and the battery lasts ages on each charge. It will come with the charger and box of original parts from when it was converted should you ever wish to remove the kit. It has a really bright headlight wired in and a bright rear light built into the battery.

Looking for either a cash sale or would consider swapping for a motorbike or moped should someone have something suitable. Open to offers too, price is based on the lower end of what bikes with bafang kits sell for.
