Description:

Here we have my 2014 Ford Focus ST3 in lovely Spirit blue. This car has been my daily driver since early last year and has even seen a a few track days with myself. Being a lifelong Ford Enthusiast since buying the car i have had a few bits of work done to it to improve on the already impressive example Ford released. The car has covered 92377 miles at the time of writing this add, it is still my daily driver so will increase slightly. The car has 4 previous owners including myself. I have personally covered over 10k in this car without issue. Genuine reason for sale as i am planning on buying another rally car and will now need to swap to a diesel estate car or similar to pull a trailer if i could justify keeping this i would but unfortunately it just wont be used as much as it should be. Being an fully specced ST3 the car is a lovely place to be with leather heated Recaro seats and plenty of Ford gadgets and convenience as standard including the SONY sync stereo. The car comes with full service history and has had no expense spared in terms of mechanical maintenance.

The car has recently had the following work/upgrades;
• x4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport Tyres (still like new)
• Mountune air filter
• Mountune intercooler
• Mountune backbox (not fitted will be given to the buyer)
• De-Res exhaust (sounds great without being to loud)
• Full service
• Mountune 275 remap
• GFB adjustable diverter valve (currently set to be subtle but can be changed to be loud)
• Rear arb links
• Front track rods and ends
• Full polybush engine mount kit
• RTS performance C hook front brake discs
• Ferodo ds2500 front brake pads
• Motul RBF660 brake fluid
• OEM rear discs and pads
Mechanically if this car has needed something it has had it, the upgrades were not added to make this car a powerful undriveable road car they were added to give it a reasonable but safe increase in power and to pay attention to the areas required to make it a great reliable drive on the road or the odd track day. The interior is also immaculate with no rips or tears to any of the leather and no damage to any trim pieces. All original Ford breakdown items are still in the boot along with the original Ford sub. The car has had full checks before, during and after both of its track days. On its recent service every part of the car was checked and ticked off. I do have a Mountune rear backbox lying around somewhere that i will give with the car.

Bodywork wise there is minor damage to the rear quarter in the form of a scrape (see pictures) and some damage to the pillar above the rear drivers side door (see picture) unfortunately this damage was enough for the insurance to deem this car a Category S. I purchased the car like this and have never had the time to give it to a body-shop however i did have it in for a qoute a few weeks ago and was told both the quarter and pillar could be saved with only minor work if i did have it booked in for repair but now my circumstances with this car have changed there really isn't any point in me doing this just to sell it on. The rest of the bodywork is in fantastic condition with only the usual stone chips that any car this age will have. It was recently polished and came up amazing, really looks the part. The wheels are painted in gunmetal grey and only have minor marks and chips around the edges near the tyre's that aren't really visible unless you go looking for them. Please note in the pictures there is tape on the rear window when the car was purchased from the insurance there was no window fitted in the rear door as it had been damaged at the same time as the pillar, i had an old Focus estate window lying around but it was about half an inch to short and fitted that to secure the car until i found the proper privacy glass for a hatchback, the correct size privacy glass was fitted shortly after those pictures as you can see in other images and the door/window now completely seals. (this was a temporary measure immediately after purchase).

I have been as honest about this car as i can be, i will be sad to see it go as its one Ford i had never owned, it has properly impressed me as a daily, a weekend toy, and as track day car. I do have videos of the car performing at track days and putting much quicker machinery in its mirror with ease. These are seriously under estimated motors and i hope this one gives a new owner as much fun as it has given me.
