1995 ford escort mk5B estate

For swaps is my 1995 ford escort sapphire estate 1.6 zetec EFI (90bhp) being the mk5b it has the smiley front end so easy to turn into a xr3i rep (I do have a xr3i bumper to go with the car) its had 4 previous owners in its life time to which all have looked after the car to a good standard, its covered 117812 miles but this will go up as its in daily use ATM, the car is completely original inside and out, even down to its original Tape deck stereo

Had a cambelt and water pump a year ago and recently had a new fuel pump and alternator, engine runs brilliant with no un wanted knocks or bangs coming from the suspension, engine and box, the car has MOT until October 2023 and i reckon it doesn't need anything either, it's had previous welding professional done where the floor meets the sill and it does not need anymore welding underneath, rear chassis legs, floor pans battery tray, front chassis legs are all solid and original

Bad bits
Needs a fuel cap as its got a stupid aftermarket thing which let's petrol fumes escape
Few dings on the body which is expected on a 28 year-old car
Small rust blister (size of a 50p piece on passenger rear arch
A tiny hole where the door seal is on passenger side
Looks to have had a bad repair on passenger front door which has let water get behind it



Remember this is a 28year old ford escort so it's not gonna be perfect, but its a running and driving classic with MOT and it's also a ideal way to get you into the classic ford scene

I really can't fault this car what so ever other than the bad bits I've mentioned above, for the age and mileage its a pretty good standard example

I'm not in a rush to get rid, just seeing what I get offered for swaps
