Jaguar xj8 v8 gearbox issue

here we have my xj8 3.2 v8 with an auto box fault...still drives just slow to get going like its stuck in one gear...nearly full years mot has had a lot of work to get through then 2 weeks later this happens....not got the cash to fix it so looking to trade...ideally i want an S type or X type jaguar or i will consider a saloon diesel rover 75 .....to be fair i might be interested in anything so show me what you got i can only say yes or no...car is in lincoln thanks
