2011A5 cabriolet needs mot faulty

Just had new flywheel and clutch fitted also new fuel pump with it,img belt when the pump was fitted all receipts to prove it, over £3000 spent in last year. The roof worked absolutely spot on but when it went to have clutch and flywheel done it come back not working with a message on dash saying soft top not secure. After pump and belt was done it ran mint for 3 or 4 months and now sometimes it starts and runs mint but sometimes it won't. It needs front springs for the mot but I have them they just need fitting and it will fly straight through.
