Description:

1997 Honda S-MX, 4WD, Lowdown, P44 SMX, 4-Speed Automatic, 2.0L Petrol, £5,500, Hertfordshire.

Owned for nearly 10 years and incredibly well loved. This is an extremely rare import-only vehicle, estimated to be one of fewer than 20 in the UK, and one of only five known 4WD models. Extremely well maintained and full of JDM goodies.

Odometer reads 126,800 miles. The first 60,000 were in kilometres before an MPH conversion was fitted, making it approximately 100,000 miles.

12 months MOT. Extensive service history including much major work.

Hands down the most reliable car I’ve ever owned - starts first time, every time, even after sitting for a while. Used to be my daily driver and has cruised all over the UK and a few times across France without issue. Used for lots of camping at car shows, fishing, etc. and has served me and my family very well. Always draws attention, whether on the road or at shows. Well known in the S-MX Owners Group and car communities. Sadly not used enough any more to justify taking up space on the driveway.
