BMW 130i LE in Carbon-Schwartz Black with Boston Lemon Leather interior, in manual. 2007.
This car needs no introduction, with regard to its unique speciality. This is a wonderful car and I will 100% fully regret selling but needs must with other projects stacking up. I will have another one day, right car just wrong timing for me.
The NA 3.0 N52 delivering 262bhp in a brilliantly handled/capable RWD E81 chassis, what more could you want.
This 130i for 198k is very well presented and has clearly been very well looked after. I would imagine just motorway miles with how well it drives!
The car comes with stacks of history in that 198k ownership ranging from BMW invoices to bulbs. It’s ready to go.
As you can see it has the usuals, xenons, parking sensors front and rear, auto wipers, auto lights, idrive, Ice cold aircon, performance stubby aerial, 216 motorsport alloys and much more.
The car has plenty of power, very very quick, drives absolutely beautifully and returns good fuel efficiency as well, I was surprised. It definitely feels quicker than other 130i’s I looked at before going for this one.
I brought this from a fellow member of the 130i club requiring a little bit of love over the last few months.
I am currently the 7th owner, and I will include the paid history check to send over to a new buyer for their records, it’s had a few private plates on but nothing to surprise.
The car has good MOT, I have done very very little miles since MOT. I put the MOT on it for the sale and then advertised it at Christmas which was a huge mistake as nobody had any money. It had advisories for front brake hoses which I have since replaced.
I have done a range of work, that includes the following and more;
- Full major service, using the later issued updated spark plugs, genuine oil and oil filters.
- Front discs and pads
- Rear discs and pads
- Refreshed painted calipers
- Rear handbrake heat sheilds/brackets and handbrake adjustment
- Brake fluid changed
- Gearbox oil and differential oils replaced
- All 4 wheel bearings replaced
- Valve cover and gasket, genuine BMW
- 2 rear springs
- Set of fresh plates
- Set of new floor mats
And probably much more that I’ve forgotten. The car has Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s on the back and Continental Sport Contact 6’s on the front with all brilliant tread.
The seats are electric memory lumber adjustable, the idrive all works spot on, radio and speakers are great, has tweeters in the doors.
The car could probably benefit from a machine polish, detail session to bring out the best of the beautiful carbon black paint, but the car is ready to go. There is a slight rust bubble appearing on the nearside rear arch at the bumper join line along with a little scuff on the rear bumper caused by juggling cars around parking.
I will be very sad to see this go. What a car. I hope to have another, when life doesn’t get in the way, or other projects I should say. I have spent a small fortune on it getting it up to scratch but having made only 160 of these, they fully deserve every penny and shouldn’t get neglected.
Do not let the mileage turn you away, this drives better than those between 100-200k and drives just as good if not better than the low sub 100k mileage examples!
I’d be looking for £4000 firm. It’s worth more than that but at this moment it’s time to get it gone.
Location Norfolk. Thanks for looking.
