HONDA CB 250 CAFE RACER

Here is my Honda CB 250 CAFE RACER PROJECT BIKE, It will need finishing to make a great looking ride, I got this bike over 1 year ago with the intention of finishing it off and using it at weekends and ride out's with mates, but as usual life and other projects got in the way and I never got round to completing it, unfortunately I am losing my workshop very soon so I have decided to let it go to someone who can see the potential this bike has and can put the final touches to it...

The bike is a non runner at the moment as I started to tidy up the wiring but never got to complete it, it did run ok before so I see no reason for it not to when sorted, please study the pictures for everything you need to know, the head light is lightly fitted but not wired in, the throttle twist grip is not fitted but it is present, some small items are not fitted but are in a box of bits so will also go with the bike, there is no battery so it will require a new one.

The bike has been extensively modified as can be seen in the pics, all the electrics, fuses/relays/etc have been placed under the seat unit to give the "open" look to the frame between the engine and seat unit, the tank is from an older Honda 750 (I believe) and has been professionally painted to look old and rusted but it is just paint/laquer, it is not rusted...The tyres are period style and look great, please study the pics as they form a great part of the description.

So, just to re cap, the bike is being sold as a PROJECT, NEEDING SOME WORK TO COMPLETE, SO IT WILL NOT RIDE HOME..

The bike is registered as historic on the log book which is here and in my name, year of manufacture is May 1980, so on a V registered plate.
