Owned for 6 months as a stop gap, hassle free motoring. Picked up new car this week
Good Points
V5 in my name
Interior nice and clean, heated cream leather
Decent boot with split fold seats if needed
Engine and gearbox all strong, very reliable car
Decent history to it
Serviced recently
275bhp range rover engine, it has bags of grunt(!)
Decent on fuel for a big engine
Parking sensors, reverse camera
Good spec, sat nav, heated seats, cruise control decent stereo with factory sub etc
Bad points
Someone has keyed one side, annoying but cosmetic
Few bodywork marks here and there, no rust however, bodywork is fair at best.
The key fob battery drains in a week so you need to keep popping in a new battery. Will be a quick fix but haven't had time to sort, I just bought a 10 pack of batteries for £10 and change the little battery when needed,. Quoted £80 to reprogram fob, it must have a short in the circuit board for it to drain quickly.
I was informed when I bought the car cambelt had been changed, however no proof.. I'm just being honest as I aim to deceive no one as a professional guy, so really should be changed just incase.
Tyres are all fine, alloys however kerbed but looks ok from a far, all straight however.
If it hadn't been keyed and had proof of cambelt I'd be asking 3500, and for this amount of car, still a bargain! However value circa £2000
