I fancy a change so up for offer is my one off X5 4.8is running 431 bhp.
Here is the list of work done costing 1000s to make the car what it is today.
Rubbish air suspension removed and replaced with race coilovers with a divorced setup on the rear..This kit cost £2000 alone.
Race braces fitted front and rear underneath.
All 4 toe in/out bars have been replaced with race fully adjustable kit.
All brake hoses to calipers have been replaced with braided hoses mates with yellow stuff pads for a much stronger brake.
Lowered and set correctly on 320/30/20 and 275/35/20 wheels with new tyres.
Uprated coils and plugs for a cleaner hotter spark.
Cold air intake mates to a larger Throttle body for better flow and response.
Water galley pipe and seals replaced along with an uprated waterpump and thermostat.
Valve stems seals replaced along with a full upper gasket set for zero leaks.
Exhaust modified for better flow with zero drone.
Custom badges front and back including wheels.
Rear wiper removed professionally for a much better look.
Wind deflectors fitted on all 4 doors
Professional window tint (Legal)
Alcatera central tunnel
Full length moon roof with zero leaks
9 inch android system fully functional on steering wheel.
4g WiFi Bluetooth satnav etc.
Custom info clocks on screen for Oil pressure, vacuum pressure, water temperature, revs, timer, Battery volts, exhaust temperature and is fully customised to your own choice.This includes the OBD dongle for this function to work..
This is NOT!!! your normal boring X5.The car feels planted and will corner like it is on rails.
Only run on super unleaded.
Full engine oil and filter service just done.
Gearbox has had 3 services in its life including a recent filter and transmission fluid change.
Diffs and transfer box fluids changed.
Full service history stamped and 2 carrier bags of receipts..
Limiter removed and this car (WILL DO) 173 MPH
The X5 drives and pulls how it should have done when they made it..
2 X key fobs
Bad points to mention and it's my fault..
I purchased 2 bonnet cables and fitted them to find there is a Third cable at the front which is stretched.Thos makes it hard to open the bonnet so will need a cable fitted to make good.
There is probably loads I have forgot but if you are looking for a powerful rare 4.8is that is going up in price, then you are looking at it..
