Here is my ford Escort Van

Bought it as it’s came up from a friend and at the time I needed an extra van for a couple of weeks for work as I had 2 jobs on, used it daily to travel Derby hospital for a few weeks did about 1500 miles then haven’t really used it since, being a 1.8 non turbo it’s no race winner but it didn’t miss a beat and runs lovely

I’ve been through the motions of what I want to do with it, truth is il not get time and I don’t have a lot of interest in it anymore, so seeing what gets offered on here

Was gonna engine swap but I bought the full service kit, cam belt kit, tensioners and pullies and water pump to give the engine a new lease of life, all that will come with the van along with a heater matrix as the heaters aren’t blowing as hot as they should

Front bumper had a DIY spray job, doesn’t look too bad but on very close inspection you can see it’s not a pro job

MOT tester said it’s very clean for its age and considering how these rot, so I know it’s a good base for either a conversion or light restoration or just do a few bits and use it as is

Also had a new thermostat put in around the time I was gonna get the service and timing kit all done, unfortunately the guy who does my 90s cars suffered some ill health and it’s sat in a private car park since

Put the battery on yesterday and it fires straight up, just pulled it out to take these pics

I have the full logbook but the history had been misplaced, I will ask my mate to look again for it but as it stands, I don’t have it with the van
