Description:

Here we have my heavily modified Xinling XL250. From the factory it originally had a 250cc which was fun but I wanted something really special so it now has a first generation (1999) Suzuki Hayabusa 1,299cc fitted. Does have reverse gear too.

If you are reading this I’m sure you are aware this is a 200mph super-bike.

The buggy has had 8 inches taken out of the roofline to give a better centre of gravity. Extensive work done to frame and chassis. It has the Hayabusa brakes fitted to the rear plus an additional calliper so has working handbrake. Upgraded front discs and callipers. Higher speed rated tyres with bigger alloys.

Very thick custom anti-roll bar, upgraded fuel pump which is good for 750bhp, adjustable fuel pressure regulator. New racing harnesses. The original dash cluster from the Hayabusa.

It uses Hayabusa gearbox too with paddles and clutch pedal. Also has reverse gearbox.

Lots of custom parts and work done to every part of this to get it right. No longer anything standard everything that need upgraded got it.

Engineers reports done for DVLA, vin plate showing correct details sorted with DVSA and DVLA so totally road legal. Current MOT until 6th August 2026.

Even had to get to catalytic converters and now passes emission testing for mot.

Large custom fuel tank rather than the original bike tank or small gallon one these come with originally.

Currently running single chain drive as with the dual chains suffered from bad oversteer. So it’s one wheel drive. Second chain can be put on as gearing there if doing straight line sprints. Single drive gives the old school rear wheel drive sensation.

This sounds amazing. Several people heard it and thought was super car pulling up.

I also have a straight-bar setup so can be hooked up and towed incase don’t want to drive to any events.

Amazing vehicle with not many like it and very little with four wheels that’s as light as this. The weight of buggy came in at 398kg. The VIN plate with a gross weight rating of 600kg. This works within the limits of the existing tyres and caters for the current weight + 2 people of 80-90kg.

Very much a drivers car with no modern nanny modes just driver and machine. Not for the faint hearted. With no protection from the wind it drives like nothing else.

If you are looking for something different this is it.

I’ve had my fun so time for someone else to enjoy it.

Will swap, part exchange with cash my way or sell. Easily cost me £20k to build.
