2.9 VR6 CONVERSION
The shell is an original 3dr GTI
The engine is out of a Corrado with less than 100k. The shell is on 140k.
No expense spared on this build, a lot of paperwork + £1000’s in receipts..
No rear seats just carpet and rear brace, seats can easily be put back in..
Has MOMO wheel and some RECARO bucket seats (VGC). The rest of the interior minus seats and wheel is original GTI.
Has the big bumpers, wide arches, chrome deep dish wheels, brake conversion (drilled and grooved all round)
Induction kit, full stainless steel exhaust system.
The shell is very clean/solid
The car starts first turn of the key goes well and sounds even better!
Not many on the road these days, this car will only go up in value. The VR6 conversion isnt everyone’s cup of tea but it’s a split mint shell and could easily be put back to standard.
it’s not really been used in the last 4 years. Would ideally require a service to lack of use an oil sensor/switch (£15) and the bonnet cable is stretched so intermittent. All less than £100 and be perfect. Priced reasonable if you research theres is a shell on for £8k alone but it’s perfect. A rough and ready D reg 1.8 for £4k. Also another vr6 conversion on for £11k so it’s priced reasonable.
Sensible offers/ cheaper PX or may swap for right car?
