It’s been a good car for the time we’ve had it and has served its purpose for a few family trips. It still runs, drives and stops fine can’t fault it really. It does what a car should.
The car passed its last MOT in October with advisories. One was damage to the windscreen, but it’s only a chip that has been repaired. Another was an oil leak (not excessive) it had this when we purchased it. The other advisory was a child seat fitted.
The MOT tester commented on how solid it is underneath and that alot of money has been spent on it.

Unfortunately, I purchased it with no service history, but the risk paid off. I have kept receipts for all the parts I’ve fitted.
The car drives nice, stops nice, and there are no rattles, bangs or wobbles.
Good bits
Newish tyres all round (around 3k miles on them, if that)
New pads all round
New bottom arms
New anti-roll bar links
Service done
Fully working cold Aircon
Good suspension
Runs, drives and stops as it should
Pulls well in all gears
Cruise control
Auto lights
Auto wipers
Bluetooth phone and audio
Fully fitted roof bars
Around 41mpg in normal daily driving (better on motorways)
Bad bits (as expected for the mileage)
Interior is showing its age steering wheel worn (cover fixes this), gear knob worn, some buttons worn
Bodywork has some damage as seen in photos
Front bumper has a bit of damage underneath
Rear RH sliding door is stiff but works
Rubber trim above the windscreen occasionally comes loose (just pushes back in, doesn’t leak, cosmetic only)
Mild oil leak as noted on previous MOTs checked and believed to be from the rocker cover
For peace of mind, a cambelt kit would be a good idea. These are cheap, and if you’re handy it’s a driveway job.
