Listing up my 1997 Subaru Impreza uk2000 turbo genuine PPP pro drive performance package with paper work to back it up
Registration number is P160 RUU
I will get better pictures tomorrow as I’m currently away
99k on the clock stacks of paper work most from Subaru it even has documented chassis and body services from Subaru
So it probably looks worse than it is but I’ve cut back any scabby bits to see how bad is bad and honestly there’s worse on the road I’ve listed up every thing I was planning on doing but with a baby on the way very shortly i fear it will just sit there and it’s too good to let rot
I’ll happily provide links to every thing I have found and or bought so far
Body wise
Windscreen was removed but sadly cracked so needs replacement around £300
All bumpers lights etc are included and in fair condition and was only removed to check for rust
Sills 4x corners either making and welding in or 2x sills from subi saver
1x rear quarter panel repair kit or again making and patching in these can be bought for around £200
Bonnet will need painting
Roof will need painting
Then a couple little patches of blending in
Or full respray I was quoted 2850 for welding and paint so really not that bad for a full car
Under side is extremely well for its age with no scabbing due to the under side services in its life
Suspension wise I would fit all new Bush’s I have found these from problem solving Bush’s (psb) for £220 for the full car to be redone in polly.
Springs are a bit crusty but not the end of the world
Bit of cutting back and paint on the roll bars needed
Will need 4x tyres as they are from 2007 so will pump up to load but no good for the road
Breaks will need removing and re building kits are cheap and it’s a easy job then paint after and new discs and pads
Engine wise it’s a ej20g closed deck block so the best of the engines made
Currently immobilised and is cutting spark ecu is good and alive engine has great compression fuel pump is working more than happy to discuss this more and explain how I came to this conclusion
Can either replace the immo unit or I was quoted £250-£350 to remove the standard Simmons immo by south east Subaru
Before evening cranking the engine over the oil and filter was replaced and cam belt inspected just in case ( a full cam belt water pump kit will be provided as that’s here )
Interior
Is all there and complete with no major damage there is a little wear on the steering wheel and gear knob
Although it is all removed currently to inspect the floor and struts that are all genuinely mint with a very very small scab on the the floor on the inside that is easily flatted back
With the sound deadening partially removed so far
Overall a honest car that’s been off the road for approx 14 years in a dry garage with stacks of paper work 1 key full v5 and PPP paper work I have worked it out to be
Around the £5000/£5500 mark to have this fully restored to a brilliant level on the top end if the bulk of the work is done your self ie mechanical even less if you can weld or paint and from searching online these are listed at the £15k-£18k mark at that level. Yes you can find rough uk2000 for £8k but there honestly shite
So listing as no reserve and will listen to offers or part ex swap deals
if I’m messed around with the sale I will be putting it in long term storage untill a time comes I start tinkering and getting it sorted
Collection is from Herne bay Kent or delivery can be agreed and sorted after the car is paid for in full by a family member who has a recovery truck
