Range Rover L322 V8 + 2012 Facelift

The Range Rover L322 is arguably one of the most iconic sport utility vehicles to ever grace the roads and has built a truly impressive legacy. Powered by its modified BMW M62 4.4-litre naturally aspirated V8 via 4-wheel drive, coupled with a 5-speed automatic gearbox, with sport/manual modes.

This particular example is finished in the ever-popular Zambezi Silver with an electric sunroof over a lovely Navy/Parchment interior, also greatly benefits from a 2012 Autobiography facelift conversion (expensive conversion) and low genuine mileage of just 113,000 miles.

Lovely car and hard to believe it’s 23 years old. It has upgraded 22" alloy wheels, LED lights front and rear, all-round vents, and later wing mirrors as part of the 2012 facelift conversion.

A private number plate will also be included with the vehicle.

Supplied with an original folder with various books and manuals present and a stamped service history to 107k and 1 key/fob.

Full navy leather heated front and heated rear seats, sunroof, heated multifunctional steering wheel, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, side steps, spare wheel, remote locking alarm, electric windows and mirrors, dimming rear view, etc.

I will list some of the more recent work that's been carried out over the last couple of years as follows:

- Water pump

- Rear brake callipers


- Various brake pipes


- Gearbox gear sensing switch (XYZ switch)

- Just had brand new matching tyres all round due to being standing


- New Boot struts


- Steering angle sensor

Starts on the button, runs, drives. No lights on dash, no leaking airbags etc.

This lovely Range Rover just needs someone with the time and inclination to bring it back to its former glory. It would make a great project, giving it some much-needed TLC. So, all in all, a general clean and polish would be a good starting point, and although she doesn't look it, she is now 23 years of age, so please be realistic with your expectations.

I'll list what I know needs some attention as follows:

- Sat-nav disc is stuck/jammed


- Head unit screen has some pixel lines but is fully functional


- Wheels, although still looking great, would benefit from a refresh due to scuffs/scratch marks


- Usual bubbling/rusting rear arch/rear outer sill sections


- Cam cover gaskets weep slightly (common problem), would benefit from replacement at some point


- Brake discs are pitted due to being surplus to requirements and stood on SORN for a considerable amount of time

- A good wash and a polish : )

Additional notes of sale:

- Currently unroadworthy due to being off-road for a prolonged period (on SORN declaration).

- Sold without a current MOT test.

I would really like this to go to someone who is an enthusiast who would appreciate it and get it back on the road rather than just sitting there unused.
