1994 Rev 3 Turbo Tin Top – Strong History

Up for sale is my 1994 Rev 3 Turbo Tin Top. A well-kept, lightly modified example with solid history and long-term ownership.

Mileage shows 112,XXX on odometer. This was converted from km/h and the mileage was not corrected at the time, so the engine is estimated to have covered around 80,XXX miles. The car was imported to the UK in 1997 with 73,XXX km (~45,XXX miles) and I am the third UK owner. The previous owner had the car from 2002 to 2025.

The car benefits from a few sensible upgrades: a Turbosmart manual boost controller running approximately 1.1 bar, HKS SSQV dump valve, and a 3-inch aftermarket exhaust system.

Structurally, the car has had professional rust repairs carried out on the rear end (both pockets, arch, and sill) by a specialist in Sabden. This work is documented with receipts and photos.

Mechanically, the car has been well maintained and comes with a large history file covering around 20 years. It has also recently been serviced, including fluids and spark plugs within the last 200 miles.

Points to note: there is a slight oil leak typical for a car of this age, the wheels would benefit from refurbishment, and the paintwork could do with some attention to bring it up to a higher standard.

Reason for sale is that a Mk1 has come up and I don’t have the space or funds to keep both.

The logbook is currently with the DVLA due to a private plate transfer. New reg will be J15 RSX - To be sold with car

Overall, a solid and honest example with good upgrades and plenty of history. A great base for someone looking to tidy and enjoy a modern classic.
