You are looking at a very cool sleeper
A 2003 Lexus is200 rear wheel drive.
It had been owned for many years by a retired mechanic/engineer as his personal car.
It was the ultimate car for him but not amazingly quick. SO…..without telling his wife he decided to turbocharge it.
She was not impressed to hear a wastegate flutter it seemed a lot quicker! This was some years ago and it has proved totally reliable.
What I really love about this car is the discrete image. It has a towbar, it has beige seats and gold badges!
Aside from the black chrome wheels and the sound on boost, it is not the sedate car that looks suggest!
I fitted a new set of Toyo Proxees tyres and knew it needed some work so put it in for an MOT.
It failed on a few bits. Today a new set of shock absorbers arrived, and some new suspension arms are on order (just advised) as well as part new exhaust.
The car will be sold with a new MOT with nothing advised.
