Reasoning for Swaps is I'm after an automatic/DSG due to the daily mileage commute to work. I have owned the car for over year and and covered 16,000 faultless miles. Starts on the button, even in mid Winter, takes you anywhere! Been used as a daily commuter, work horse, tip runs, family car etc so a great allrounder - even used it to move house!
It was well looked after by the previous owners with stamped service history including a timing belt/water pump at 80,000 miles. In my ownership I have also carried out the following:
Bosch front/rear wipers - 06/05/2025 @134,929
Both front wheel bearings & front left ABS sensor - 09/05/2025 @134,990
Updated maps from 2014 to 2023 - 09/05/2025
Front/Rear discs and pads - 26/09/2025 @138,708
Key battery changed - 23/11/2025
MOT, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter and handbrake adjusted - 07/01/2026 @142,855
Being the Tekna model, as mentioned this is the highest spec from factory with the following:
18-inch alloy wheels, front LED headlights, and signature daytime running lights. Full leather upholstery with heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel/gear knob. 5-inch TFT driver information display, NissanConnect navigation system, dual-zone climate control, and a 360-degree parking camera. Nissan Safety Shield (including Forward Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Warning). Pearl paint, folding mirrors (button), Start/stop, keyless start, keyless entry/lock, rain sensor, cold A/C (working), child isofix, tyre warning pressures.
Due to the age an mileage the car does have some areas of improvement:
- Stone chips and some marks here and there. With a good wash and polish the car looks and comes up great.
- After updating the maps to a newer version it is 50/50 if it works - probably needs an update but unfortunately I don't have the software. Still have the factory SD card. DAB radio struggles to find reception - fitted a new aerial which seemed to be better but could be a simple fix.
- When I got the car back in Summer 2024 I noticed a slight clutch release bearing noise (Only when up at speed, cannot be heard at idle or slow speeds) It is subtle to the trained ear but as you can see I'm writing a very honest description. Over 16,000 miles the noise has not got any worse.
I will be sad to see the Nissan go as it has done myself and my Family very well but with the amount of miles I cover I would love an automatic/DSG.
Any questions, please ask! Thank you, James.
