1964 Triumph 3TA Bobber
Location: South West England - Gillingham
Swap Value: £5.000+
Description:
Here we have my 1964 Triumph 350TA chop, not built by me ,but I wish I could take the credit for it.
Frame and wheels powder coated
Cream and brown metallic paint in excellent condition by Flakey Dave I think!
A few brass bits here and there.
Hard tailed frame.
Nice skinny tyres which have had little to no mileage on them.
Kicks over nicely.
Gears change nicely.
Kept on a battery tender. ( ION battery)
Sprung seat.
Siamese exhaust with brass tip
Nice comfy positioned bars.
Just changed all the oils. ( Including Active8 oil additive for the engine )
39 miles on new speedo, which I think is all the miles it has done since being built.
Does leak a little engine oil from the sump plug and the primary casing fluid level bolt, rookie mistake as I did not have any new crush washers so used the old ones! ( I do have a new primary gasket to go with the bike) but after all its a Triumph. Being 1964 it is Tax & MOT exempt. Log book in my name . Would suit the smaller person I'm 5'4"and my feet are firmly planted on the floor and the bike is very light. Having not been out on her for a while I would recommend you give it the once over before taking it out on the open road just to satisfy yourself.
Will swop for a Harley hardtail, softail chop / custom /trike , maybe a project or just a good old cash sale.
