Offered for sale is this beautiful example of the modern classic Jaguar - the X308 XJ8.

This is the long wheel base Executive model so would make a fantastic wedding / prom limousine or simply an ultra classy & comfortable daily driver for someone!

I have owned this car since last year and in my ownership it has received a light recommissioning - including all old sub-standard weld repairs being cut out and replaced with new steel, professionally fabricated and welded.

In addition to the welding, the Jaguar also received a gearbox service (with proper ZF specific fluid & filter), new Lambda sensor, minor paint repairs, all minor electrical niggles fixed (typical old Jaguar fare!).

The car now drives absolutely beautifully and I believe will make someone very happy!

Included with the car is a chronologically organised service history binder, including old MOTs back to 2005, mountains of service invoices (including the recent recommissioning works) & original Jaguar correspondence from the cars early life.

Of course this is a 26 year old car now so as wonderful as I think it is, please be aware that it is not immaculate or brand new. Nor is it a concours example. There are imperfections on the car as one might expect.

I had the air conditioning re-gassed and it was ice cold, however over the past fortnight i feel it has lost it’s icy ‘edge’, so I am selling with the A/C described as sub-par.

It is a daily drivable, useable and more importantly enjoyable modern classic.
