2010 VW CADDY MAXI – SEMI-CONVERTED DAY VAN / CAMPER

Selling or swapping my 2010 Volkswagen Caddy Maxi.

It has the well-known PD engine, has covered 175,000 miles, and has clearly been well looked after mechanically. It feels like it may have been remapped or chipped because it pulls really well, although I have no paperwork to confirm that.

I have owned her for around a year and she has been a solid, reliable van.

Rear conversion and electrical setup

The back is fully lined and ready to use as a day van, basic camper, music van or to continue converting.

It has:

I literally put a bed and my instruments in the back and head away. It is ready to use as it is or build into whatever setup suits you.

Awning setup

It also has a proper awning setup, which gives you loads more usable space when parked up and makes it ideal for weekends away, festivals or camping.

The awning cost around £600 and could be included as part of the right deal.

That is a big part of the setup because it turns the van into a much more practical little camper, especially if you want covered space for sitting, cooking, storing gear or just getting out of the weather.

Recent mechanical work

Recently had:

Two new front shock absorbers New drop links on both sides New bottom arms on both sides Brand-new main van battery Brand-new leisure battery New rear wiring loom and relay setup . New Handbrake cable.

It has been serviced regularly and comes with loads of stamps, paperwork and service history.

Also fitted with an upgraded touchscreen stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Bad points

She is 16 years old, so she is not perfect.

Tear in the driver’s seat base, although I have black seat covers fitted Slight rust around the passenger-side wheel arch General age-related marks

Nothing hidden. She is what she is, but she is solid, dependable and ready to go.

Ideally looking to swap for a larger camper van or camper conversion. I am happy to add cash for the right deal.
