Vivaro sportive crew cab

Location: East Midlands - Kirkby-in-Ashfield
Swap Value: £500+

Description:

Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to view my advert.

For sale is my Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive Crew Cab, a genuine factory Sportive model with a great specification and plenty of potential for someone who is able to carry out the necessary repairs.

I have owned the van for approximately two years, and throughout my ownership it has been a very reliable and useful vehicle. It is a particularly nice-looking van for its age and, with a little work, I believe it could make a very good vehicle again.

The important bits

The van is currently SORN and has no MOT and is being sold as spares or repairs.

It starts, runs and drives, but there are currently two known issues that require attention:

* Diesel injector leaking/dripping – this will need repairing before an MOT can be passed. I understand that removing the injectors on these vans can be a difficult job, and unfortunately it is beyond my own ability and I have been unable to find a mechanic to undertake the work.
* Power steering has stopped working – I have not investigated this fully, so I cannot say whether the problem is with the pump, belt, hose or another component.

I want to be completely honest about the condition so there are no surprises for the next owner.

Genuine Sportive Crew Cab

One of the main reasons I have always liked this van is that it is a genuine factory-built Sportive Crew Cab, rather than a basic van that has subsequently been converted.

It has a very good appearance and comes with some desirable extras, including:

* Genuine Sportive Crew Cab
* Alloy wheels
* Good tyres
* Full-length heavy-duty Rhino roof rack
* Pipe tube
* Central locking
* Tinted windows
* Sliding windows incorporated into the twin sliding doors

The van is very presentable overall, and I think it would be well worth saving for somebody with the right mechanical knowledge or access to a suitable mechanic.

Why am I selling it?

Quite simply, I wish I could get it repaired myself, but the injector issue in particular is beyond my own abilities. I have also recently purchased another van which, although it isn’t as nice as this one, does what I need and gets me to and from work.

Rather than the Vivaro sitting around unused, I would much rather see it go to someone who can put it back on the road and get some use from it.

Please remember: this is a project and is being sold as spares or repairs. It has no MOT, is currently SORN, and the known faults will need to be rectified before it can be legally driven on the road.

I am happy to answer any genuine questions and will do my very best to provide any further information I can.

The van is advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to remove the advert if it sells.

I am open to sensible cash offers, although I am also considering Swapz

Thanks very much for taking the time to look.

Kind regards,
Andy
