The engine runs extremely well, sounds spot on and pulls as it should. It starts and runs smoothly, effortless gear changes.

The chassis is one of the main reasons I bought this Pajero in the first place. Unlike many examples of this age, the underside is in very good condition, and the chassis is exceptionally solid for its years. I specifically wanted a solid, relatively unmodified base that I could build upon and make my own.

The bodywork is also surprisingly clean for a 1993 vehicle, with no obvious nasty dents or scrapes.
