KTM Superduke 990 (2009)
Location: West Midlands - Halesowen
Swap Value: £3.000+
Description:
KTM Superduke 990 (2008/09) – 21,000 Miles – Fully Sorted Cult Classic
Looking to sell my clean, 21k-mile Superduke 990.
Excellent early paperwork with original service records from the legendary Jim Aim Racing, alongside a fully printed, highly linear MOT history proving the genuine mileage.
Comes with a load of receipts I have personally spent on the bike along with a post purchase inspection that is 100% good to go.
Long MOT.
The 990 LC8 engine is incredible, but it is a bit too raw and violent for my personal riding style, so it’s time to pass it on to an enthusiast who can truly appreciate it.
The "Holy Trinity" Common Faults – Fully Resolved:
Oberon Clutch Slave Cylinder installed (fixes the notorious stock slave failure)
Brand New Regulator/Rectifier fitted
Brand New Water Pump Seals & Shaft addressed
Premium Upgrades & Trick Bits:
Full Titanium Akrapovič Twin Exhausts (sounds phenomenal and saves massive weight)
Very rare Rotweiler Airbox and custom remap to suit.
Brand New Genuine Carbon Fibre front fairing tank panels installed (Original Panels to go with sale)
Ultra-Rare Brand New Rear Seat Cowl
Brand New Graphics Kit.
Radiator Guard
Crash Bungs
CNC KTM Power Parts Grips
Stealth Low Profile Mirrors
CNC Key Cover
Carbon Fibre Stator & Clutch cover guards
Maintenance:
The bike had a post purchase inspection & Health check (Documented) all it perfect working.
Serviced the bike on the 21st of September (New DID chain, Sprockets, plugs, oil and Coolant)
The bike is currently booked into the workshop for a full Valve Clearance check on 10th November. This receipt will be handed over to the new owner, providing absolute mechanical peace of mind for the next 9,000 miles (If you do not wish for the clearances to be done then im happy for knock off the £300 cost from the sale price)
The bike was also suffering from clutch chatter which anyone with an LC8 engined KTM will tell you is normal and goes away when the clutch lever is pulled in ever so slightly however because i wasnt a fan of the noise so I addressed the situation and have installed CSK130 EBC Heavy duty clutch springs and a secondhand clutch assembly off a newer bike which limits the noice of the chatter slighly.
Runs perfectly, rides like a missile, and needs absolutely nothing spent on it.
Price: £3500 ONO
Location: Halesowen (West Midlands)
Im looking at getting a Honda CB1000R SC60, so if youre interested in a swap im all for it.
