2006 ford transit connect, ex British Gas van so was always well maintained, no history with the van unfortunately but you can tell it has always been well looked after. She’s a mint runner, low mileage sitting a littler over 95k. Van is clean for its age, back door needs attention, besides that the plastic exterior trims are faded, requires bumper gel to make them look better as photos show. The van has had new droplinks, new front disks and pads, all 3 new engine mounts and a brand new battery. New tyres fitted earlier this year and I’ve probably only done 600 miles in this van since taking ownership in July. Inside the van is in amazing condition, steering wheel has wear but besides that it’s bang on. Half leather seats, electric windows, towbar fitted with electric plug for trailer. Van has deadlocks also. Couple things the van does need which is new bonnet latch, common issue they fail and cause the central locking to now and again flash the indicators while van is off, it isn’t my daily driver so I’ve disconnected the battery to prevent battery drain, needs too mounts and the sump re sealing. For the right sale or swap I have no issues in buying the top mounts and sump kit for it for new owner to get sorted. I honestly don’t have the time to do the jobs myself anymore otherwise they’d be done already. The van is factory restricted to 70, previous owner had the sills repaired or replaced, can’t remember which one it was, MOT until may next year. Double din unit doesn’t come with the van, I do still have original with code but the console has been cut to fit double din, will need to fit double din or get new centre console to fit original unit. I’m looking for 1500 for the van, or good offers, I’ve seen these vans need a lot more work go for this price with much higher mileage, 1500 or will swap for another car or van, ideally van with rear seats or an estate type car.
